往事随风–与FDA打交道
做生意多年, 跟美国FDA(食品药物管理局)打过几次交道，今天写写与FDA打交道中的人和事.
20年前我们刚开始做生意时, 从国内深圳的一家药厂以健康补充品之名进口了一批中药, 货空运到洛杉矶后，FDA马上通知清关行和我们，这批货需要检查，己被扣在指定的仓库里。货在仓库过去了一个月， FDA和海关末给我们任何消息，但我们一直要交高昂的仓储费，当时刚做生意实在吃不消， 要清关行查问了多次，每次都说检查正在进行中。我们也两次去信FDA，告诉我们的困境。又过了半个月，FDA才通知我们, 让我们把货转到自己找的便宜仓库, 条件是必须封存好, 这样才解决这个高昂费用问题. 随后FDA派检察员来检查取样， 审核标签，快三个月才放行，这是第一次跟FDA打交道, 搞得我们焦头烂额。
第二次打交道，是在我们上市一款新的糖尿病产品时。他们通过广告看到我们的产品标签，来信说产品标签违规了，产品名称有治病之嫌疑，但是我们已经做了几万个标签，部分产品也上市了。我们去信申诉，他们又派人来检查，维持原结论。其实我们的产品标签名称很含蓄，律师说可以去法庭告，但民不跟官斗，我们只好损失不少金钱，重新设计标签上市。
美国FDA有个烟草中心， 专门监控烟草的买卖，他们在各州办公室人员常常去经销商处检查，最喜欢钓鱼执法。我们早年为帮一些导游朋友进到好价格的烟，专门申请了一个烟的销售许可， 也顺便在店里卖。只是美国对烟酒的销售管理很严， 政府来检查频率很高，有时半年就来一次，我们也曾被FDA钓鱼执法钓到过 。有次两个小姑娘， 一白人，一墨裔，白人假装买保健品， 趁忙时墨裔就进来买了盒香烟。结果没过半个月，我们就收到FDA违规警告信, 说我们卖烟给了18岁以下的未成年人。那2个小女孩是FDA员工，她们假扮客人来买香烟， 按照法律，如果怀疑买烟者29岁以下，应该检查他们的身份证件，核实年龄，卖烟给18岁以下者是犯法。因为是初犯，FDA只给了我们警告, 并要求制定措施, 以防再犯, 再犯除高额罚款外，还可能有刑事责任。FDA检查员半年后又来检查过, 那时我们己不再卖烟了，说到他们钓鱼执法的事，两位检查员哈哈大乐，笑个不停，因为那两个小姑娘是他们办公室的同事，己工作2，3年了，只是看起来年龄小而已。

Overall these are PERFECT!! They look identical to the TAZZ slippers. Color and size are spot on. Only cons are it took about 4 weeks to receive after ordering and they gave off a chemical smell when opening.

Delivery - took a while to come but seller posted relatively quickly after purchase.
Packaging - came with box but was not bubble wrapped so box was completely battered and destroyed. Came with dustbag but brand logo print was smudged so not much use to display. Also came with authenticity cards which are passable.
Shoes - really good dupe. Def 1:1. Sizing is accurate. Details are accurate. They are comfortable. Came with 2x extra laces.
Overall I’m very satisfied with shoes but do wish more care was taken to preserve the box.

Product is ok… the SPURS letters are a little off course but all letters and numbers are sewn on so should survive a few washes. Ordered a small and at 5’10” it’s pretty long and baggy.
